Tips for using wok on grill or charcoal chimney?

I’ve searched on here and not finding any info. Does anyone have any experience using a wok on a grill, specifically using a chimney starter? I see that Weber sells a wok grate which I may upgrade to eventually but for the time being I’d like to try just using my chimney. I’d like any tips I can get to have the best results possible. Having a lot of wet weather right now so can’t just go out and experiment. Would I fill the chimney all the way? Strap it down? Etc
