I'm a beginer griller. Set up is small/avg charcoal grill with Royal oak briquettes.
I've been having a problem where my charcoal won't get hot enough, they simply get white and ash. I was cooking state the other day and couldn't get the heat/fire needed to sear it.
What should I be doing to get the charcoal to get red-hot and have flames? (btw I can start the briquettes quite quick)
