Looking for a good way to store charcoal outside

I tend to stockpile charcoal a bit and I don't really want to keep it in the garage. Plus, I'd rather store it on the patio where it's next to the grill anyway.

I was thinking about getting something like this, but I'm not sure how watertight and airtight something like that would be. I live in the midwest so I get all kinds of weather here.

Any input on outdoor storage for charcoal is appreciated!
