How long did your Weber Gas Last?

Genuinely curious about Weber build quality.

Without a doubt, Weber is one of the best gas grill manufacturers out there, but a lot of times I hear, "Just get a weber it'll last forever and you can hand it down to your kids!" I'm curious from Weber owners only, how long did yours last before you needed to replace a part or it stopped working. If it hasn't had any issues, have you owned it for more than 5 years?

Reason I ask. I've been using the same Char Broil gas grill for about 5 years and one of the burners is JUST starting to go out. I remember my dad's old Genesis had the side burner failing after 4. Maybe both are outliers, but wanted everyone's opinion here.
