Scored a Weber Master Touch this morning for $99! My wife is getting tired of my joyous mansplaining.

After reading lots of stories here about great end-of-season clearances, I stopped by my local Lowe's last night to check. The person said they just had a “feeding frenzy” that morning, but were going to pull all remaining stock to clear out for the season, and I should “definitely come in early” the next morning because some things would be 90% off. Cut to darkened bedroom and my alarm going off at 5:30am on a Saturday. My wife's confused grumbles aside, I got up and headed out to beat the crowd!

I arrived at Lowe's to see only one other car in the lot and thought “Uh-oh.” I went in and checked out the grill zone, but it didn’t look any different than the night before. I was kind of dejected and when a manager asked if I needed help, I explained the story from last night. He rolled his eyes and said they were clearing things out, but not for 90% off. “Tell you what, though, I can do 50% off. Which one do you want?”

Cut to very happy me driving back home with my first Weber grill!

P.S. Got an extra 10% off with my wife’s military discount. It is a good day.
