Disinfecting a grill after a mouse nest was found inside?

I had not used my grill in a couple months. I planned on grilling today, but when I pulled the grill cover off, I discovered a nest of 4-5 mice. I had left a towel underneath the cover and they had shredded it into a nest on one of the side shelves.

I immediately got rid of it and the mice scattered. I don't see mouse droppings everywhere or anything like that. If I first saw the grill how it is now, everything would appear normal.

However, some sort of cleaning/disinfecting is obviously in order lol. Is just turning the grill on high (gas grill) and letting it get super hot for a while plenty, or should I do more or something else?

Grills are kept outside so I assume this is not unheard of.

Thank you to any helpful replies in advance.
