Hey y'all,
This seemed like the most relevant place to ask this. I just got back from my fill up station and they refused to fill my tank because of some greenish/blue corrosion on the brass tip. He said this was a sign that someone cooked meth with it.
I looked into this more when I got home and apparently this is true, anhydrous ammonia causes corrosion on the brass that produces the blueish green color.
Does anyone have a non malicious explanation for the corrosion? All three of my tanks have only been used by me, no exchanges.
Thanks.
