Sous vide seasoning recommendations


I've gotten my temps and time etc down pretty good although my grill is gas and I have a tough time getting the iron got enough for really good sears but it's getting better.Does anyone add anything to the meat before going in the sous vide? I've done just some pepper but wasn't sure if any herbs would be good to try. I enjoy steaks with just some sea salt and pepper but wondered what else would be good to experiment with. I've thought about making herb butter and trying some of that in each vacuum sealed bag.My reasoning is that I usually get my steaks from the butcher and they taste great, but sometimes I haven't been able to get there and regular markets around here just don't have the same flavor.I typically do ribeye or NY strip. via /r/steak https://ift.tt/2KU10l0
